Luda Kogan is a partner with Pollack, Pollack & Kogan LLC.
Luda practices primarily in the areas of fraud, breach of contract, probate, and debt collection, and is licensed to practice law in the Florida State Courts, and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle District of Florida. Through her work in debt collection, Luda has appeared in a number of bankruptcy cases to contest discharge of debt on behalf of her clients. Luda has also participated in arbitration of cases, and has pursued and defended appellate cases before the Miami-Dade Circuit Court and the Third District Court of Appeals. Luda is a pro-bono attorney for Lawyers for Children America (LFCA), representing abused and neglected children in the foster care system. Her work with LFCA has earned her the Young Lawyer of the Year Award in 2013, presented by Lawyers to the Rescue, and the John Edward Smith Child Advocacy Award in 2013, presented by Lawyers for Children America.
Luda graduated from the Florida International University College of Law in 2009. While attending law school at FIU, she participated in appellate moot court competitions, and served as the President of the Board of Advocates. Luda has returned to the FIU College of Law as an adjunct professor, teaching legal writing and practical application skills, and as a judge for appellate moot court competitions.
